VentureTECH welcomed the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), YB Khairy Jamaluddin and Deputy Minister YB Ahmad Amzad Hashim, to VentureTECH’s office in Cyberjaya yesterday. The Minister and delegates from MOSTI were introduced to a few VentureTECH’s investees in the medical devices, green chemical products and advanced sensors & IoT in agro-farming.

The Minister also witnessed the exchange of Investment Agreements between VentureTECH and two Bumiputera companies, TXMR Sdn Bhd, an industrial automation solution provider, and ACME Chemicals (M) Sdn Bhd, a specialty chemicals and wastewater treatment technology company.

During the briefing session, VentureTECH’s Managing Director, Dr. Norida Abd Rahman shared with the minister the company’s local industry development efforts especially for Bumiputera and also real challenges faced by local industry operating in high value-added, high growth market segments. Highlighted also on recovery measures implemented by VentureTECH to ease the burden of its investee in withstanding the negative impacts of Covid19.

Also present were Chairman of VentureTECH, Datuk Ir Khalilur Rahman Ebrahim; from MOSTI, Datuk Ir Dr Siti Hamisah, Secretary General MOSTI and Dr Mohd Nor Azman Deputy Secretary General MOSTI; and Datuk Dr. Yusoff Sulaiman, President & CEO MIGHT.
